Sales Specialist (Software / Consulting / Managed Services)A leading suppliers of IT hardware, software and service solutions to businesses, corporations and public sector organizations, such as those working in education, healthcare or government. Our knowledge & expertise spans 20 years. We are currently seeking a eager, strong willed sales specialist in the market space, with strong work ethic and Niche capabilities. The successful candidates will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation, sales cycle management and deal closure. Develops and implements agreed upon Sales Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the relevant marketing area. Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.

  • Prospecting and cold calling on new SME and Corporate clients
  • Researching and conducting feasibility of the prospective clients
  • Setting up a minimum of 8 qualified new business appointments per week
  • Conducting sales meetings and sales cycle in line with the prescribed Sale process
  • Developing a pipeline of sales opportunities and forecasting sales per month and quarter in an accurate manner
  • Responding to incoming client requests/new business leads within same business day and no later than 24 hours where same business day is not possible
  • Generate proposals, quotes, contracts and SLA agreements
  • Connectivity (Voice, Data and Cloudbase)
  • Hardware Support ( Desktop and server support)
  • Maintenance of Network infrastructure
  • Development and presentation of proposals
  • Attend and grow company roadshows
  • Customer Needs Analysis
  • Closing Deals, achieving targets
  • Opportunity management, Business and technical proposal reviews
  • Grow, develop and manage a sales team
  • Exceptional customer service support
  • Constant industry knowledge  and researchpertaining to Services and Solutions, Servers & Networks, Support & Maintenance and Project Management, within the IT and Telecommunications industry
  • Report to senior management
  • Resolving customer queries quickly and effectively


  • Matric, tertiary degree preferable, valid driver license and own reliable transport
  • Sales experience within the IT market space  – with proven track record and fully computer literate
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work normal hours-Weekdays 08H00 to 17H00
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment
  • Ability to deal with senior executives at corporate level: personal presentation, communication skills, grammar and business etiquette must be at a very professional level
  • Persistent and tenacious with high energy levels and ability to cope with a multitude of tasks, objections and challenges on an on-going basis
  • Mental agility to assess and propose solutions to clients specific needs
  • Accurate and reliable forecasting
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to function independently with high levels of responsibility and accountability
